We had the pleasure of hosting the Greens Norton Scout group for their first ever taste of shooting on Saturday 14th October at Silverstone shooting school, aged 10 years+ 18 very keen youngsters took their first steps using .410 & 20 gauge shotguns.
It was great event with so many happy faces, parents & scout leaders also took part, it did get quite competitive at times!
A team shoot off was completed at the close of the day & the youngsters beat the leaders/adults, a nice touch to finish!
Thanks to Dr Peter Marshall & Louise Farmer of BASC who gave up their Saturday to join us helping out with coaching, thanks to Lyn Nikk & Andy for setting up & coaching on the day, also thanks to scout leader & all round nice guy Mac for bringing the guys along.
